Делегация Ассоциации ACRENAP на конференции COP30

For the third consecutive year, our organization, “ACRENAP Association,” as an appointed observer of the UNFCCC (including RINGO and ENGO), participated in the COP30 Global Climate Change Meeting in November 2025, held in the city of Belém, Republic of Brazil.

Our delegation, headed by President Dr. Volodymyr Iserskyy, was introduced by Executive Director Eng. Efrain Edgar Bonzano Sosa, along with Association members: biologist Yessenia Gallardo Veliz, Eng. Wilfredo Sosa Venezuela, Eng. Darwin Soto, and our ACRENAP representatives for the European Community, Asia, and Oceania — Ms. Norma Arones Chávez and Uwe W. Alfred Lehnfeld (MBA) from the German organization “Planetlungs org”.

We participated in important meetings with leaders and representatives from more than 170 countries to analyze global climate issues and the urgency of establishing ambitious policies to reduce the impacts of global climate change. The event took place from November 10 to 21, with over 50,000 participants, and featured the world’s largest delegation of indigenous communities.

Although significant progress was not made regarding climate finance (tripling support for developing countries), adaptation, resilience, and trade integration, and no consensus was reached to explicitly phase out fossil fuels, these points remain under discussion and generate criticism regarding the goal of limiting the global average temperature increase to 1.5°C by 2030.
