The entomological center for invertebrate breeding “DEDALMA” was founded in 2009 in the Canton of Pastaza. During the 11 years of its activities, the Center has been engaged in research programs in ecology and ethology study of invertebrates in captivity. Together with the Ministry of the Environment of Ecuador, various activities are carried out in the field of environmental education, ecotourism and combating illegal traffic in flora and fauna.

Registration and activities
Our fruitful collaboration began in 2013 when we we working together during the filming about Amazon insects. In 2017, the Ministry of the Environment of Ecuador legalized joint research in the project “Identification of the families of Lepidopteras : nymphalidaes , papilionidae, hesperiidae and saturniidae in Pastasa Province ” with Resolution no. № AC-FAU-DPAP-MAE 2Al6 005
In May 30, 2018, the “DEDALMA” Center signed an Contract for representation of the Association-NGO “ACRENAP” and its projects in Ecuador
Social activity of the “DEDALMA” Center
With the constant support of the Ministry of the Environment and the Minister personally, the DEDALMA Center conducts various educational Seminars on environmental protection, interaction with native tribes of the Amazon Indians of Ecuador and educational institutions.
